Hello, Goodbye

A quick note on life skills for children with special needs and unique abilities: greetings and departures

Good manners are appropriate for every child. Every child should be taught social skills for greeting and departures.

Some of our children do not have a problem with speaking to other children and adults. Others may be shy or shun eye contact and touch.

Teach and allow the child to be comfortable in these situations.
