Back to School

Depending on where you live, school may have already started for the fall or it will after Labor Day. Some of us are returning to comfort zones where our children have been for several years. Others will have new situations. In both cases it is really important to establish a positive relationship with administration, teachers and staff. It will be easier to address problems when they arise. Remember it is about what is best for your child. Keep an open mind and at the same time be firm about what you want for his/her academic program. Finding that balance is hard some times. But if the focus is the child and those who work with him/her understand that you going to advocate for the best services, it will be a great year.
